Boogie’s Breads & Such is a small business with huge aspirations to connect people with the best grilled sammy’s, homemade sourdough bread around. We strive for stellar quality homemade food that’ll make ya dance like no one is watching.
About Boogie: Jaymie Clark, nicknamed Boogie by her peers, is a native of Rock Island, Illinois currently living in Bettendorf, Iowa. She attended Western Illinois University and graduated with a MA in Liberal Arts & Sciences. Throughout college she moonlighted as a bartender and server and played in a couple of bands to make ends meet. After graduating, Boogie joined Living Lands & Waters as their Education Coordinator and lived on a River Cleanup barge travelling on the Mississippi, Ohio, and Illinois rivers. Boogie also spent time as an AmeriCorps Volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters in Davenport, Iowa, and as a Development Director with Spring Forward out-of-school learning programs in Rock Island, Illinois. Boogie is currently working part-time at BREW in the Village (Davenport, Iowa) while she is working on making Boogie’s Breads & Such her main gig.
Boogie is an avid lover of music. Whether it be playing guitar or piano, singing around a bonfire, or listening to live music she enjoys it all. Boogie’s dream is to incorporate her love of music, with her love of food, all while helping spread joy to her community.
