Driftless Quality Wear was founded in 2018 by two college students in the small northeastern Iowa town of Fayette. Jake Dale and Clayton Lieb were crazy about outdoor adventure and soon began learning about the “Driftless,” which is the area of land along the Upper Mississippi watershed left untouched by glaciers. The region is extremely unique and is full of towering bluffs, deep river valleys, forested ridges, and spring-fed streams. The two decided to start a clothing brand to unite those who live in the Driftless and provide those outside with the opportunity to learn more about it. The brand was born and is now inspiring explorers of all kinds to find their adventure.
